The spirit of the coastal house finds its place in Oumu Kitchen — long tables, dishes brought to the centre, conversations in no hurry. A restaurant rooted in local produce and the seasons, as relaxed as it is refined.

Founded under the gastronomy direction of Chef Naci Işık, Oumu Kitchen brings local culinary knowledge together with the technique and flavour of kitchens from around the world.

Set out by boat from a pier that lives all day to Selimiye's hidden coves. Arrive on your own boat and moor directly at Oumu, dropping anchor in the bay's sheltered water. The pier is open not only to staying guests but to restaurant guests arriving by sea — reserve a table and pull alongside.

A coastal house that exists together with Selimiye.

Oumu Beach House was founded in the sheltered cove of Selimiye — less a hotel than a coastal house you live inside. The building, designed by architect Fahrettin Aykut, draws on coastal towns: stairs, intermediate terraces, narrow passages and small squares that recall a little settlement. Comfort lives not in showy details, but in the small things of everyday life.

For Oumu, being Mediterranean is not a place but a matter of time. Here the true luxury is the ability to stretch time. Drawing on the silence of the cove and joining its rooted idea of refuge with the joy of the Mediterranean, Oumu Beach House does not describe Selimiye — it comes into being together with it.
